7 Reasons Why You Must Visit Indonesia – ipadguides

You probably haven’t heard about my country Indonesia.

But read on, I bet this seven reasons will make you booked a ticket to one of the best destinations in the world!

1. The Underwater Life

Place like Raja Ampat will really make you not wishses to come back to surface.

The life of coral garden bubling with amazing color are highly visible — thanks to warm crystal clear water heated by tropical current, sometimes volcanic geysers. That combination is enough for making home for a various great diversity of marine life. From cute little clown fish to awe-inspiring whale sharks.

Did you know Raja ampat has more diversity than Caribbean seas — even Great barrier reef — even though Raja Ampat occupied much smaller area?

2. Bromo and Other Volcanos

The country has the most number of Volcanoes in the World is Indonesia. It has 167 of 850 knows active volcano in the world. That number alone scars me just to live here.

But even so, it also shares the beauty. In Bromo you can watch the sun rise through the haze of steaming craters and peer into the earth’s bubbling core. For the adventure, try Rinjani. You could spend a week trekking in thrilling Jurassic landscape.

remembering history, The ash clouds from the cataclysmic 1815 eruption of Mount Tambora in Sumbawa modified the global climate for a year, causing massive crop failures in Europe. The 1883 eruption of Krakatau between Java and Sumatra generated tsunamis that killed tens of thousands.

You have been warned.

3. The Beaches

For most people, Indonesia is all about beach.

Well, with some 17,000 islands stretching between two tropical oceans, it would be hard to imagine any other place on earth where land, sea and sky have combined to produce so many absolutely breathtaking strips of sand of such total variety.

We’ve converted it all. White sand beaches, black sand beaches, and even pink sand beaches! Some of the beaches also have act like hot spring because of volcano nearby.

Not to mention that some of the beaches has 8 ft wave and upwards. A dreams come true for surfers.

4. The Foods

Spice, spice, spice everywhere. The strong sense of spices occupied most Indonesian food. Most of the local even always put sambals in every dishes.

One of famous dishes in Indonesia is Rendang. Culinary experts often describe rendang as: ‘West Sumatran caramelized beef curry”

In 2011 an online poll by 35,000 people held by CNN International chose Rendang as the number one dish of their ‘World’s 50 Most Delicious Foods (Readers’ Pick)’ list.

I can say, across the asian, Indonesia has the spiciest dish ever.

You have been warned, again.

6. The Komodo, Orang Utan, and other Wildlife

Indonesia’s rainforests are a biodiversity hotspot, rich in endemic species, and vital in regulating the Earth’s climate. The wildlife is as diverse as its marine life.

Great apes, tigers, elephants and monkeys – lots of monkeys – plus one mean lizard are just some of the more notable critters you may encounter.

Every region in Indonesia has its own habitats and animals. You can enter the river across jungle to see orangutans in Kalimantan; Meet the dragon, largest living lizard on Komodo island, Flores; Watching the bird of Paradise in Papua ; even the Mammoth elephant riding in Sumatras.
