Investing in apartments has become a new trend for urban communities, especially in the capital city of Jakarta. It has been proven that the selling value of apartments has increased from year to year, so it is not surprising that many people are interested in investing in property in the form of apartments.
There are many benefits what we get when we invest in apartments. Besides being able to live in, we can also rent out and resell in the following year when apartment prices have increased many times. This proves that apartment investment will not hurt.
However, it is a fact that investing in an apartment in Jakarta is not cheap, let alone choosing an apartment in the Central Jakarta area which has exorbitant prices. Investing in an apartment in the middle of the city, for example in Central Jakarta, is definitely very expensive and drains your pocket. The solution, find a location outside the city center. But keep in mind the ease of access to get to the city center. Is it close to the toll road? Is it close to bus and commuter line access? Is it close to shopping centers and entertainment facilities? Is it close to public facilities such as hospitals?
2. Facilities
For middle class apartments, usually the facilities are not as complete as upscale apartments. However, the following should be present.
- Sufficient parking area
- Adequate security (security guard, cctv, emergency button, lift access control)
- Elevator and emergency stairs
- Super fast internet (for me this is mandatory hehe)
- Soundproof walls. If the material is made of cheap brick, we can certainly hear the neighbors and this is very disturbing privacy.
3. Check the developer’s reputation
So that our investment is smooth, make sure to choose a developer who is experienced and has a good reputation.
We must know that there are cases where apartments are disputed. There are unscrupulous developers who have had problems with the construction of their projects against the law. For example, an apartment has been finished and purchased, but the certificate has never been given to the buyer. It could also have started to build a project, but the permit has not been taken care of.
So we must pay attention to the status of this developer if we want to invest in apartments in Jakarta.
4. Is apartment investment profitable?
When I’m walking around an apartment building, I often see a banner that says. Stage 1 sold out! Stage 2 is only one floor away! In fact, there is a lottery system to compete for the remaining units.
I can only say, “Wow!”
Nowadays people buy apartments not only to live in, but also as a form of investment portfolio. Because the level of profit margins is quite promising.
