ipadguides.id – The Ministry of Education and Culture opens the Teaching Campus program for final year students at least in the fifth semester, because there are many benefits that they will get later. Registration for the first batch of this program ended last February. However, the government will soon open registration for the next batch.

Campus Teaching Program Objectives and Benefits

The aim of the Teaching Campus program is so that students have a place to serve as educators in schools in Indonesia. In addition, during the Covid-19 pandemic, many elementary schools needed additional teaching staff.

Therefore, students who participate directly in the Campus Teaching program for three months are expected to be able to help students as well as teachers to optimize limited learning facilities.

Not only that, the Campus Teaching program also provides many benefits for students, one of which is increasing soft skills.

Then, students are also entitled to an allowance of IDR 700 thousand per month, one time UKT deduction of a maximum of IDR 2.4 million, and conversion of tuition credits of 12 credits.

  • Active students at least semester five.
  • Have a minimum GPA of 3.00 on a 4.00 scale.
  • Preferably have organizational experience or teaching experience as evidenced by letters of recommendation, certificates, certificates, or other supporting documents.
  • Have a good record and have no problems in tertiary institutions as evidenced by a certificate signed by the head of the university.
  • Not a participant in the 2020 Pioneer Teaching Campus program.

How to Register

The following is the procedure for registering for the Teaching Campus program:

  • Open the Merdeka Learning-Independence Campus website then click the Login button in the upper right corner.
  • Click on the Register menu if you don’t have an account on the website or directly Login if you already have an account.
  • Create an account first by filling in your personal data, including: full name, date of birth, email, and choosing to register as a student. Account verification will be done by sending a verification message to the registered email address, for that make sure the email address is active.
  • Login with the verified account.
  • After entering the dashboard menu, select the category Teaching in Schools.
  • Next, you will be directed to the Activity Program page and select the Teaching Campus Program.
  • After selecting the program, a page will appear containing activity information and the Activity Registration Form.
  • Click apply now and fill in the data to upload requirements such as transcripts, recommendations, organizational experience certificates, and choice of teaching location.
  • Click the Submit Now button. After a successful notification means that the registration data has been saved.

Registration Requirements for Lecturers

Following are the registration requirements for lecturers who wish to participate in the Teaching Campus program:

  • Have valid data in PDDikti.
  • Willing to guide 5-8 students in the Teaching Campus program.
  • Assisting student guidance to meet with the office and school.
  • Conduct student mentoring sessions during the program
  • Provide a final assessment to the student guidance.
  • Provide recommendations for student self-development.
