Synopsis of Jujutsu Kaisen
Jujutsu Kaisen itself tells the story of a high school student named Yuuji Itadori who spends his daily life leisurely in a hospital and club room. Itadori himself often went to the hospital to accompany his grandfather who was sick because he was old.
Then at that time Itadori got involved with the paranormal activities that his club did. His laid-back lifestyle suddenly turns strange when he unknowingly discovers a cursed object.
Itadori then finds himself suddenly thrust into the world of the Curse and a monstrous being that appears as it is formed from the hatred and negativity of humans. Itadori who was confused because he was fighting a cursed creature, then he accidentally ate a high-level curse.
This eventually makes Itadori a vessel for high-level cursed creatures. Itadori then met with Gojou Satorou and introduced him to the Tokyo Metropolitan High School of Jujutsu Engineering.
The series has been awarded the ‘Anime of the Year’ at the 2021 Crunchyroll Awards. According to CBR, the series has become the second most-viewed TV show of 2021. The series is trailed only by the Korean drama Netflix Squid Game.
