Kamala Harris angers viewers after ‘incoherent’ speech – ‘What nonsense’ | World | News

Wednesday’s meeting commemorates 60 years of diplomatic relations between the two countries.

The vice president said the two leaders discussed new efforts to help Jamaica recover from the pandemic, crime prevention efforts, the environment and Russia’s invasion of Ukraine.

Ms Harris said: “We also recognize, as has happened in the United States for Jamaica.

“One of the issues that has emerged as an issue, the economy in terms of its impact, is the pandemic.

“So that goal we announced today, also that we will help Jamaica in the recovery of Covid.

“By assisting the recovery effort in Jamaica which is central to what, I believe, it is necessary to strengthen not only public health issues but the economy as well.”

Harris’ speech was lambasted by Twitter users.

One Twitter user wrote: “What nonsense, especially when one considers the importance of the passage of time.
