well for comrade” who often travel far, especially those who are often late for prayer, don’t forget to pray or let our prayers be hollow. Because we as Muslims have become an obligation. Try to pray 5 times on time, if you are in a hurry you can’t. Here, I have a little discussion about congregational and qashar prayers. Repeating a little high school lesson…

1. Congregational prayer

congregational prayer ‘is prayer by collecting two fardhu prayers at one time. As for the prayers that may be congregated, among others, the noon prayer with ‘Asr and the Maghrib prayer with ‘Isha’, other than that it is not permissible to pray ‘Isha’ with Fajr or Asr with Maghrib.

Not everyone is allowed to pray in plural. Only certain people get this relief, including:

Go on a trip (safar)

Travelers or people who travel long distances are allowed to pray in plural. Provided that the distance traveled exceeds 2 marhalah or more than 89 kilometers.

Sick man

A person who is so ill that it is impossible to stand or sit. Even if his condition is very weak to move, it is permissible to perform plural prayers.

There is an urgent excuse

For people who have a very urgent udzur, it is permissible to pray in plural. For example, if he wants to have an operation or have an examination at a doctor where it is impossible for him to leave, then his prayers may be plural. However, it should be noted that this should not be made a habit.

This opinion is based on the hadith:

“Rasulullah sallallaahu ‘alaihi wa sallam used the Zuhur prayer with Asr and Maghrib with Isha’ in Medina even though there was no fear, nor was there rain” (Narrated by Bukhari and Muslim).

Abu

az Zubair asked Sa’id bin Jubair about why the Prophet sallallaahu ‘alaihi wa sallam did this. Said Sa’id, “I have asked Ibn Abbas. Ibn Abbas replied, “The Prophet sallallaahu ‘alaihi wa sallam wanted not to trouble any of his people’.”

There
are 2 ways to do the Jama’ Prayer:

1. Jama’ taqdim

namely the congregational prayer ‘which is done at the time of the first prayer, for example, dzuhur and asr are done at the time of dzuhur, maghrib and Isha’ are done at the time of maghrib.
The conditions for jama’ taqdim are:
a. Intend to pray in congregation at the time of the first prayer
b. Done in an orderly manner according to the order of prayer.
c. Consecutively that is not to be interspersed with other prayers.

The following is the intention when performing the plural taqdim prayer, namely:

Intention to pray plural taqdim dzuhur and asr (To be done at dzuhur time)
“Ushollii fardlozh zhuhri arba’a raka’aatin majmuu’an ma’al ashri adaa-an lillaahi ta’aalaa.” It means: I deliberately prayed the fardu dhuhur 4 rakaat in congregation with Asr, fardu because of Allah Ta’aala.

/>After finishing the midday prayer, immediately continued with the Asr prayer with the intention reading:“Ushollii fardlozh ashri arba’a raka’aatin majmuu’an ma’al dzuhri adaa-an lillaahi ta’aalaa.” It means: I intend to pray asr 4 rakaat in congregation with dhuhur, fardhu because of Allah Ta’aala.

Intention to pray plural Taqdim Maghrib and Isha ‘(To be performed at maghrib time)
“Ushollii fardlozh maghribi thalaatha raka’aatin majmuu’an ma’al ‘isyaa’i jam’a taqdiimin adaa-an lillaahi ta’aalaa.”It means: I deliberately prayed the fardu maghrib 3 raka’at which was jammed with isyak, with jama’ taqdim, fardu because of Allah Ta’aala.
After finishing the maghrib prayer, immediately continued the Isha prayer with the intention reading:“Ushollii fardlozh ‘isyaa’i arba’a raka’aatin majmuu’an ma’al maghiribi jam’a taqdiimin adaa-an lillaahi ta’aalaa.”
It means: I intend to pray four raka’ats of Ishaq in the evening, with the congregational taqdim, fardhu because of Allah Ta’aala.

2. Jama’ Ta’khir

namely the congregational prayer ‘which is done at the time of the second prayer, for example, dzuhur and Asr are done at the time of Asr or Maghrib and Isha’ is done at the time of Isha’.
As for the conditions “as the conditions for jama’ taqdim only added one more condition “still on the way when the first prayer time enters.”

The

following is the intention for the final plural prayer, namely:

Intention to pray the last plural of Dzuhur and Asr
“Ushollii fardlozh zhuhri arba’a raka’aatin majmuu’an ma’al ashri adaa-an lillaahi ta’aalaa.” It means: I deliberately prayed the fardu dhuhur 4 rakaat in congregation with Asr, fardu because of Allah Ta’aala.
After finishing the midday prayer, immediately continued with the Asr prayer with the intention reading:“Ushollii fardlol ‘ashri arba’a raka’aatin majmuu’an ma’azh zhuhri adaa-an lillaahi ta’aalaa.” It means: “I deliberately pray the fardu Asr 4 raka’at which is jammed with dhuhur, fardu because of Allah Ta’aala”

The intention of praying the late Maghrib and Isha’
“Ushollii fardlozh maghribi thalaatha raka’aatin majmuu’an ma’al ‘isyaa’i Jam’a ta-khiirinin adaa-an lillaahi ta’aalaa.” It means: I deliberately prayed the fardu maghrib 3 raka’at which was jama’ with isyak, with jama’ takhir, fardu because of Allah Ta’aala.
After finishing the maghrib prayer, immediately continued the Isha prayer with the intention reading:“Ushollii fardlozh ‘isyaa’i arba’a raka’aatin majmuu’an ma’al ma’gribi Jam’a ta-khiirinin adaa-an lillaahi ta’aalaa.” It means: I intend to pray Isha’ four rak’ahs in the congregation at sunset, with the congregational takhir prayer, fardhu for Allah Ta’aala.

2. Qashar prayer

Qashar prayer is to summarize the number of raka’at. For example, four raka’at is condensed into two raka’at. The fard prayers that may be qashar are dzhuhur, asr, and isya prayers, while other prayers are not allowed to be qashar.

Qasr prayer conditions:
1. Traveling that is not for good
2. Travel at least 138Km or two days on foot
3. The prayer that is qhasared is prayer and not qadha
4. Do not pray to the priest who does not pray qashar
5. Intend to pray qashar when takbiratul ihram.

Intention:
dzuhur prayer jama’ taqdim and qashar
“Ushalli fardladh dhuhri rak’ataini qashran majmuu’an ilaihil ‘ashru adaa-an lillaahi ta’aala AllahuAKBAR”
it means:
I intend to pray fardhu dzuhur qashar two raka’at with a congregation of ‘Asr prayer, fardhu for Allah ta’ala, Allahu AKBAR.

Ok, that’s all for the discussion from me, if there is an error it is from me personally and if there is truth it will only come from God.
Jazakumullah khoiron katsiro.
