Turkiye Burslari Beasiswa Scholarship Types
A. Full time Program
This program includes full-time scholarships for undergraduate, postgraduate, and postgraduate programs.
1. Undergraduate Scholarship Program
Undergraduate Scholarship Program is a scholarship given to prospective undergraduate students from various countries, one of which is Indonesia. This scholarship program gives prospective students the opportunity to study in all undergraduate programs in Turkey.
2. Postgraduate Scholarship Program
Postgraduate Scholarship Program is a scholarship awarded for masters and doctoral levels. The programs offered are very broad, ranging from social science, humanities, natural sciences and engineering, not available for specialist programs in medicine.
B. Short-term Program
This program refers to short-term scholarships for certain areas and target groups.
1. Success Scholarship Program (1 year)
This program is provided for students who have studied in Turkey at their own expense and have good academic achievements. This scholarship covers only a monthly stipend.
2. Research Scholarship Program (3-10 months)
This program is designed to encourage international researchers and academics to conduct collaborative research with Turkish academics at the most prestigious universities in Turkey. This program is only available to doctoral students who are in the dissertation preparation stage.
3. Turkish Language Program for Public Officials and Academicians [KATİP] (8-10 months)
This program is designed for foreign public officials, diplomats and academics who want to learn Turkish and get to know Turkey better.
Turkiye Burslari Scholarship Coverage
- Pocket money per month: Full Time Program S1 = 800 TL, S2 = 1100 TL, S3 = 1600 TL. Short-term Program S1 = 450 TL, S2 = 600 TL and S3 = 900 TL. (Notes: Short-term and research programs do not include accommodation etc.). 2000 TL Turkish Language and Culture Program.
- Accommodation Fee
- Cost of education. Including summer courses or taking courses at other universities in Turkey.
- Health Costs. Free medical expenses at government hospitals and discounts at private hospitals.
- Placement of majors and universities.
- 1 year Turkish course.
- Flight ticket. Consists of tickets for the first departure and after graduation.

Turkiye Burslari Scholarship Recipient Criteria
1. The maximum age for applicants for TBS scholarships is:
- Not more than 21 years old for those who intend to study
register for S-1 level - No more than 30 years for those who intend to register for the S-2 level
- Not more than 35 years old for those who intend to register for the S-3 level
- Not more than 45 years of age for those who intend to apply for research scholarships.
2. The minimum value for each type of program and scholarship is different from one another.
- For applicants for undergraduate education, the minimum value of a previous education certificate is 70% from 100%.
- For applicants for master’s and doctoral levels, the minimum value of the previous education certificate is 75% from 100%.
- For applicants majoring in medicine, the minimum value of a previous education certificate is 90% from 100%.
3. Registrants can come from all countries in the world.
4. Applicant status: have graduated or will graduate before August 2022.
5. Not a citizen of Turkey or already registered at a University in Turkey.

Document Requirements
- ID cards such as KTP / Passport
- Recent photo
- Grade of Diploma/Graduation Certificate. If you have not passed, you can use a certificate of graduation or Letter of Expected Graduation (If there is)
- Transcripts/Reports. Temporary transcripts or report cards can be used if you have not passed
- English Proficiency Test such as TOEFL/IELTS (depending on the university and program chosen)
- International Exams such as GRE, GMAT, DELF, YDS, YÖS (depending on the university and program chosen)
- Research Proposals / examples of scientific papers (for P.hD registrants)
- Complete the YTB online form

Turkiye Burslari Scholarship Application Process
Application for the Turkiye Burslari Scholarships is done by filling out the online application form.
Registration Deadline
Applications for Turkiye Burslari Scholarships close on February 20, 2022. Candidates will be selected based on academic success as well as the results of the interview. The educational criteria of each candidate will be determined based on the scores listed on the YTB scholarship application requirements documents.
