ipadguides.id – The University of Padjadjaran (Unpad) campus confirmed that the student with the initials GG (26) who was found hanged himself had no problems on campus.

German Literature Faculty Student
As previously reported, the final semester student of the German Literature Faculty was found dead in a boarding house located in the Caringin Hamlet, Sayang Village, Jatinangor District, Sumedang Regency, West Java, Thursday (15/4/2021) at 10.00 WIB.
The Head of the Unpad Public Communication Office, Dandi Supriadi, said that according to the faculty, his relationship with the supervisor and his friends was fine.
“Communication is also good, and the person concerned has never missed registration every semester,” said Dandi.
Thus, said Dandi, the incident did not seem to have anything to do with academic or social issues on campus.
Dandi said that after the campus received news of the incident, the Unpad leadership accompanied the family on the day of the incident.
“And has given his deepest condolences to the parents concerned,” he said.

Dandi said that while attending lectures at the Unpad Campus, he was known to be a smart student and had a fairly high GPA.
“Now it is known that he is completing his thesis,” said Dandi.
Sumedang Police Chief AKBP Eko Prasetyo Robbyanto said to the witness, the victim often talked about her parents’ divorce, and previously it was known that the victim was being treated at a psychiatrist specialist at RSHS Bandung.
Eko said the witness also knew from the victim’s statement that the victim was advised to be treated because he was suspected of having depression.
“However, it was because of the victim’s desire and parental direction that they should take outpatient treatment or not take treatment at the hospital,” said Eko.
Eko said, initially the victim was found when the boarding room guard asked the residents of the boarding house about the whereabouts of the victim who did not appear to be active.
“Then, another witness tried to look in front of the victim’s room, and the witness saw that the condition of the victim’s room door looked slightly open, then the witness opened the bedroom door,” said Eko.
Eko said the witness saw that the victim was already in a neck position tied to a rope and hanging, then he informed the boarding house keeper and also other residents of the boarding house as well as the Jatinangor Police.
“Based on the testimony of the witness, the victim was last seen by the witness on Tuesday or at dawn,” said Eko.
To the witness, said Eko, the victim often talked about his parents’ divorce and previously it was known that the victim was being treated at a psychiatrist specialist RSHS Bandung. Eko said the witness also knew from the victim’s statement that the victim was advised to be treated, because he was suspected of having depression.
“However, it was because of the victim’s wishes and also parental directions that they should take outpatient treatment or not take treatment at the hospital,” said Eko.
Meanwhile, based on the results of the medical examination, said Eko, there were no signs of violence on the victim’s body.
